Twitter is rolling out a new feature which will allow iOS users to share tweets directly to their Instagram Stories from the app. Previously, if you wanted to share a tweet on Instagram in the past, you had to snap a copy of it and publish it either on your feed or in your Instagram Stories.
This is a time-consuming process, and you may end up with a slew of screenshots cluttering up your phone.
The good news is that, if you frequently share tweets on your Stories, Twitter has stated that screenshots are no longer required.
Users will now be able to share tweets directly to their Instagram Stories, according to the company.
While this appears to be an iOS-only feature for the time being, we expect it to eventually make its way to Android devices.
How To Share Tweet To Instagram Stories
In order to simply share your favourite tweet to Instagram all you need do is to tap on any tweet you intend sharing to your IG story, Next tap on the share button, and then tap on Instagram Stories. That’s all you have to do.
Though after sharing a tweet to your Instagram stories, do note that the shared tweet in form a card doesn’t give the user the chance to interact with the tweet such as liking and retweeting directly from Instagram, hence to do this users will need to do so by accessing their twitter app.
However, it should be noted that this only allows users to share to Instagram Stories and not the Instagram profile as such it will be deleted after the 24 hours time period, therefore the screenshot approach appears to be the only option to put it in your profile.
Nevertheless, the suppose update by twitter makes it easier for all it users to share their tweets to Instagram Stories instead of the previously used screenshot method.
