Google’s ultimate work towards enhancing it’s apps and making it user friendly and productive involves making it’s mailing application Gmail the one application you use for everything.
Previously you could only change your Gmail display photo on PC however, with the new updates brought to the Gmail app, users can now change your display picture at will fast and easy. While not leaving out the fact that the Gmail app already supports messaging, video calls, and editing.
Upon opening the gmail account switcher in the top-right corner, it’s shows a list of all your accounts already present on the device which is a standard Interface across all Google’s first-party apps with quick shortcuts to “Manage your Google Account” and add new ones.
The tiny avatar for the active account now house a small camera icon in the bottom-right which when tapped will open on-device Google Account settings where you can then change or remove the “Profile picture”.
Meanwhile, The tech company first added the account switcher shortcut for profile pictures in Contacts in early February, it’s now expanding across it’s apps.
